Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install database-backup-restore-testing

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes logical backup scripts (pg_dump in custom format) and physical backups (pg_basebackup, for point-in-time recovery), schedules them and sends archives to remote storage. You get the scripts and the restore procedure to test.
