Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install database-schema-documentation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent queries the database read-only, cross-checks the result against ORM models, migrations, generated types and queries, then compares the docs back to the schema. You get mermaid ER diagrams, a data dictionary per table and a machine-readable schema.json.
