Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install datadog-log-metric-cli

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent runs the Datadog CLI to search for errors, tail logs in real time, summarize them and follow trace IDs. You get an analysis based on your account's data, guided by the reference docs on query syntax.
