Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install datadog-logs-metrics-traces

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

Before any query, the agent checks that the DD_API_KEY, DD_APP_KEY and DD_SITE variables are set, and asks you to provide them if they are missing. It then queries logs, metrics, APM traces or the list of monitors. You get the results to analyse.
