Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install dbt-bigquery-model-index

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

Before writing SQL, the agent checks an index of your dbt models, grouped by domain, and identifies the tables that fit the question. You must first fill the index with your own models. You get a list of tables to query, with what each one is for.
