Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install deepseek-chat-completion

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sends a request to DeepSeek's OpenAI-compatible endpoint, with the key read from the environment, and returns the reply as JSON. Without a key, or if the API is unreachable, the command exits with a degraded status instead of failing. It suits summarisation, extraction and simple classification.
