In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install defensive-bash-scripting-3

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies strict mode, safe argument parsing and defensive patterns, then adds Bats tests and ShellCheck verification. It treats input as untrusted and avoids eval. The skill does not cover PowerShell.
