Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install design-handoff-spec

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent starts from a Figma URL, a screenshot or a description and produces a structured sheet: layout, tokens used, components, states and interactions, responsive behavior, edge cases, animation and accessibility notes. Its principles (specify everything, tokens over raw values, show every state) stop developers from having to guess.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Figma?

No. Without a design connector the skill works from a screenshot or a description. With Figma it can read exact measurements.

The file mentions CONNECTORS.md: is it required?

No, that reference is only a hint; the file is not shipped and the skill works without it.
