Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install design-system-docs-extend

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent works in three modes: audit (naming, tokens, hardcoded values, component completeness), documentation (variants, states, accessibility, do's and don'ts) and extension (designing a new component that builds on the existing ones). Each mode has its own report template. You get a structured document and prioritized actions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Figma?

No. Without a connector, provide the component code or a description. With a design tool connected, the agent can also read names and properties directly.

Which framework?

None in particular: the code examples adapt to the framework you use.
