Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install design-system-generation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent defines tokens for colors, typography, spacing, shadows and radii, then builds base components such as Button, Input and Card. It adds the Tailwind configuration and a class-merging helper. You get a token and component library ready to document.
