Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install doca-version-coherence-check

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the version from pkg-config, the VERSION file, doca_caps --version and bfver or mlnx-release on BlueField, then compares the four sources. It also says whether a capability exists on that release and explains drift symptoms, such as a program that builds but does nothing on the wire.
