Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install dpu-nic-change-safety-check

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent refuses to apply a risky change without a prior inventory and out-of-band access, then runs the procedure: read-only capture, rehearsal on a replica, apply and rollback. You get a verifiable plan before any write to the hardware.
