Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install ec2-image-builder-golden-ami

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up the build IAM role, components and recipes, distribution (launch templates, SSM parameters, other Regions), then a one-off build or a recurring pipeline for golden AMIs and OS patching. It also helps diagnose a failed build.
