Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install ecs-entity-field-mapping

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent classifies each data stream as entity or event, picks the entity type, maps vendor fields to entity.attributes, entity.lifecycle and entity.relationships, and can run a gap analysis. You get consistent ECS mapping and a report of missing fields.
