Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install efcore-database-diagram-d2

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent analyses the DbContext, entities, Fluent API and migrations, then produces a readable .d2 file with tables, foreign keys, join tables and indexes. Rendering is then done with the d2 CLI. The agent runs no migration and no query.
