Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install email-imap-terminal-client

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent drives the himalaya CLI to list folders and read or send messages on your IMAP and SMTP mailbox. It composes messages in MML and sets folder aliases when the server names them differently, as Gmail does. You get messages read or sent without leaving the terminal.
