Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install emdash-cms-command-line

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the EmDash CLI to read and change content, schema, media, taxonomies and menus, handle authentication and migrations, then export the site. You get operations run in the terminal, checked against the exact commands of the installed version.
