Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install enable-ssi-kubernetes-apm

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent extends the DatadogAgent manifest with the APM configuration, then reminds you which unified service tags to add. It first removes existing manual instrumentation and flags that a ddtrace or OpenTelemetry dependency declared in the application's dependency manifest silently disables SSI.
