In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install end-to-end-cobol-modernization

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent follows the project's four phases: setting up the COBOL and Java build with test fixtures, planning the mainframe transformations, removing the CICS or VSAM constructs, then migrating to Java. It validates the result with tests. The project requires GnuCOBOL and Java 11 or later. You get a Java application derived from your COBOL.
