Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install event-monitoring-platform-tracing-toggle

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent produces the Event.settings-meta.xml file, which changes only the enablePlatformTracing field to turn trace event publishing on or off. Agentforce agent tracing to Data Cloud, Event Log Files and Change Data Capture belong to other skills.
