Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install eventcatalog-document-generator

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent finds or creates the catalog, checks what already exists, then generates the requested files: systems, services, agents, events, commands, queries, domains, flows, channels, ADRs, data products or entities. It validates the output. You get files in the EventCatalog format.
