In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install excel-automation-windows-com

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent drives Excel through its COM API, so the file is never edited by hand: it writes Power Query queries, manages the data model and DAX measures, and creates pivot tables and charts. It runs on Windows only.
