Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install existing-repository-guardrails

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first examines the repository: git status, existing configuration, tech stack and structure type. It then sets up guardrails such as Husky, lint-staged, pre-commit or commitlint, following the conventions already in place. You get an assessment and a setup that does not require a rewrite.
