Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install figma-design-reading

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent queries the Figma API to read a file's structure, specific nodes, rendered images and comments. It can also extract colors, spacing and other design tokens. You get a faithful reading of the design, ready to be implemented in code.
