Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install first-doca-program-lifecycle

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent has you start from a shipped DOCA sample, explains the create, configure, start, connect, use, stop and destroy lifecycle, then decodes DOCA_ERROR codes. You get a program that builds cleanly, with the points to check on real hardware.
