Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install footage-to-edited-film

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent indexes and searches the clips on your disk, uploads only the chosen shots, then assembles an editable timeline and an MP4. It states the limits of this local lane. You get a timeline and an output video.
