Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install fork-upstream-sync

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent merges the upstream stable tag onto a work branch, resolves file ownership from the manifest, checks that the result builds and opens a pull request against main. It never pushes to main directly. You get a sync pull request, brought to green before merge.
