Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install gcsfuse-mount-tuning

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first checks whether a FUSE mount fits, compared with native gs:// reads or Filestore. It then tunes caches, mount flags and workload profiles. It also helps keep ML checkpoints safe and diagnose low throughput. You get a justified mount configuration.
