Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install genai-llm-tracing

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent starts with the base OTel setup, then asks whether prompt and response content should be captured. It enables the GenAI conventions, sets the required attributes on every span and plans the data flush. You get instrumentation of your LLM calls, tools and agents.
