Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install generate-wren-mdl-project

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent explores the schema with the tools available (SQLAlchemy, a database driver, an MCP connector or raw SQL), normalizes types, writes the YAML project and validates it with the wren CLI. It can also import an OpenMetadata catalog.
