Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install geospatial-dataset-ingestion

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent normalises a vector file (GeoJSON, Shapefile, GeoPackage, KML, FlatGeobuf or CSV with geometry) to EPSG:4326, produces a PMTiles archive for display and a GeoParquet file for spatial queries, then adds the entry to datasets.json. Everything runs on your machine, with no compute server.
