Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install gepa-genome-inspection

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent loads and validates a GEPA genome (by default the shipped cand-6 genome), renders the system prompt it compiles, or classifies the failure modes found in a run transcript. Without the @metaharness/darwin library, the skill degrades gracefully.
