Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install git-local-pitfalls-verify

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks the actual content after a git operation rather than trusting the exit code. It looks for orphaned commits after a squash, duplicated merge additions, vanished staged files and work lost to reset --hard. You avoid losing or duplicating work without noticing.
