Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install git-repo-maintenance-cleanup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent looks for accidentally committed files, updates .gitignore and deletes merged branches. It cleans redundant stashes, then runs an incremental repack, gc or fsck depending on the options. You get a lighter repository and a report of the operations run.
