Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install gke-backup-restore

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent enables the BackupRestore addon, creates a backup plan and a restore plan, triggers a manual backup, runs the restore and checks its status. It reminds you of the restore safety rules and notes that database backups are out of scope.
