Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install gke-monitoring-logging-setup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent enables GKE's default monitoring suite, including Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring and Managed Service for Prometheus. It also checks scrape targets, PodMonitoring resources and permissions when metrics are missing. You get the configuration commands and the points to verify.
