Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install global-hook-block-main-commits

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs a global pre-commit hook via core.hooksPath, which refuses commits to main and agent commits in the main checkout. It then delegates to each repository's own hook and provides an escape hatch for humans.
