Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install grepai-lm-studio-embeddings

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs LM Studio, downloads a model, starts the local server, then points GrepAI at it, using a custom port if needed. This option suits people who already manage their models in a graphical interface. You get private embeddings driven from LM Studio.
