Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install grepai-openai-embeddings

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets GrepAI to use OpenAI embeddings, compares the text-embedding-3-small and large models, and configures parallel processing. It points out that code is sent to OpenAI's servers and advises against writing the API key directly in the file. You get high-quality embeddings with no local infrastructure.
