Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install grepai-watch-indexing-daemon

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent starts grepai watch in the foreground or background, checks its status, stops it and sets the watch options in the configuration. The daemon scans files, chunks code, generates embeddings and updates the index. You get an index that stays current without rerunning indexing.
