Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install handle-n8n-files-binary

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent separates structured data from file bytes, reads or writes binary data in a Code node and keeps a merge from dropping it. It also says when a file must go through a CDN URL for a chat interface.
