Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install heartbeat-for-cron-jobs

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent adds check-in pings at the end of the job, sets the period and grace window, then reads check-ins and rotates the secret token safely. You get an alert when the job stops running or reports a failure.
