Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install hootsuite-oauth-setup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent guides app registration in the developer portal, stores the client ID and secret in an environment file excluded from the repository, then sets up the exchange of an authorization code for an access token. It ends with a connection check.
