Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install hugging-face-dataset-explorer

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent calls the Dataset Viewer API read-only: it checks availability, lists splits, previews rows and pages through them in batches of at most 100. It then searches, filters and retrieves Parquet links, and reports the dataset's statistics.
