Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install inngest-background-jobs

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates the Inngest client, the /api/inngest route, Zod-typed events and functions triggered by events, on a schedule or in fan-out. It applies naming, stable function IDs and idempotent step conventions. You get jobs that can retry without duplicate side effects.
