Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install inspect-playwright-trace-cli

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent opens the trace file, lists actions as a tree with their IDs, filters failures, then drills into one action, its requests, console or DOM snapshot. You get the diagnosis of a failed test without opening the viewer.
