Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install iproute2-network-state

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the iproute2 suite to show addresses and interfaces, query the routing table, read the ARP or NDP cache and counters, and export state as JSON for a jq script. You get the host's network state without the net-tools utilities.
