Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install joy-ui-components-css-variables

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs Joy UI, sets up the CssVarsProvider and uses the library's variants and colors. It also adds a dark mode toggle. You get an MUI interface with a more modern look and less setup than Material UI.
