Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install karpathy-guidelines-check

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

Runs a complexity checker on changed files for over-engineering, premature abstractions, deep nesting and long functions, and a diff surgeon on the diff for comment-only changes, whitespace noise, style drift and drive-by refactors. A reviewer agent then applies judgment checks for hidden assumptions and missing verification. The output is a report with a verdict per principle and line-level fixes.
