Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install kitty-terminal-session-snapshots

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent configures kitty, installs a snapshot script and a LaunchAgent that captures sessions at regular intervals, then checks the capture and walks through a restore. You get your tabs back after a WindowServer hang or a forced reboot.
